We have utilized "The Journal.com" to find informative articles that support our three basic issues of trying to teach teens to be safe online:

  1. Do Not Share Photos or Pictures Online, on one's life, friends or family
  2. Keep Personal Information Private
  3. Do Not Hurt Others..Be a Good Online Citizen

Online Photos could be taboo
Personal Info Private
No bullying allowed

We have targeted the teenager ages 14 through 17. Our teenagers of today know almost everything there is too know of online technologies, remember they are the "Digital Natives" of our today. They were born into this technology that it is second nature for them to learn such technological platforms. Our teenagers use such platforms as the social networking sites: myspace, Facebook, and then also use the Podcasts to digitize audio files through their iPods, they utilize Blogs, wiki sites etc. all so they can network amongst themselves in this technological era. These teenagers have to be kept informed on how to stay safe with this online technology. The following poster is our hope to teach teenagers to be safe and smart in this cyberspace era..........

(Please be aware that the videos are too the point and don't sugar coat the fact. These are high school students who don't want bells and whistles on a poster but facts. That's what we were aiming for in this poster.)
